Day Camps
A fun filled action packed Daytime Adventure for children ages 6 - 12.

Skills & Activities

Monarch brings you all the activities and fun of camp in a daytime setting. Campers will participate in group activities, learn new skills, enjoy friends and have FUN! Campers will rotate through activities – wall climbing, ropes courses, cooperative initiatives, leadership training, waterfront activities.

Resident Camp
Ages 8 - 16.
Exciting, challenging programs at
Youth Leadership Camps Canada (YLCC).

High quality, camper focused programs taught by well trained professionals. YLCC specializes in cooperative learning and leadership training.  Their motto is; “Move you to fly!” and they strive to provide each and every camper with the tools to succeed. The partnership between Monarch and YLCC will provide campers with a challenging, stimulating camp filled full of fun and learning.

Skills & Activities

Campers will rotate through activities run by YLCC  – ropes courses, wall climbing, leadership training, cooperative initiatives, canoes/kayaks and one activity period run by Monarch.  Choose 1 activity and 1 alternative for the Monarch run period.

Choices are:

  • drama
  • crafts
  • cub cars
  • bottle rockets
  • trampoline

Dates and Locations
July 29 - Aug 4
Drop of time - Sunday 2 - 3 p.m.
Pick up time - Saturday 1 - 2 p.m.

Youth Leadership Camp Canada (YLCC) is located 15 minutes from Peterborough on Pigeon Lake near Ennismore.

Price - $400 ($360 Resident Camp registration and tuck fees $40 HST)

ALL CAMPS include...

wholesome snacks and kid friendly meals. Bible time, object lessons, skits, group games, sports, camp songs, FUN, FUN, FUN!!

Day Camps

  • money for tuck is included in camp fees and is not refundable.  Campers can spend $1 per day.
  • suitable camp clothes
  • bathing suit
    • one piece for girls (or coverup)
    • shorts style for boys
  • hat

  • insect repellant
  • Bible (if camper owns one) + pen or pencil
  • water bottle - Filled every day PLEASE
  • Optional

Resident Camp

  • **NEW** YLCC will run Tuck Shop. Campers can bring Canadian Tire money to pool for tuck. Monarch will be asking people to donate CT money so everyone can enjoy!

    • (We do a dress up banquet on one night.)
