Monarch Bible Camp has been in operation under this name since 2000 when the directorship and office moved from Minden to Fenelon Falls. The camp, formerly knows as CSSM Bible Camp - Minden, has been in operation since the mid-80s. The focus of the camp has always been to meet the needs of smaller communities and Day Camps and Resident Camps have been run at various locations and on rented properties.

Currently we operate six different day programs at five different locations. Being a mobile camp enables us to service several communities and bring the fun and stimulation of camping right to their neighbourhood. The day program is ideal for many families - it is much more affordable since food and facility costs are reduced, it provides a full camp program close to home, it gives families time together in the evenings, it’s great for campers who want to enjoy camp but don’t enjoy being away from home, and it’s good for the local economy.

Our Resident Program is high on adventure and fun. By combining the skills of Monarch’s diverse team and YLCC’s professional staff, children enjoy a well-rounded and safe camp experience. YLCC staff are experts in Rec. Prog and Leadership Training..

The camp is run by Director, Teresa Ward who is a full time Missionary with CSSM. Along with her husband Barrie, Teresa brings to the camp, experience in Child Education, Psychology, recreational programming and evangelism. The Director is supervised by a Board of Directors and under the authority of Provincial and National Councils.
